《战锤 40K 团队将为孩之宝开发 3A 新作》

在IP巨头以及玩具生产商孩之宝与开发商Saber Interactive举办财报会议期间，公司首席执行官Chris Cocks透露，正在开发《战锤40K：星际战士2》的团队，目前正着手打造一款基于孩之宝“顶梁柱”IP的3A游戏。

Cocks表示：“我们正在筹备诸多新的数字合作，而今天特别高兴能宣布这一合作，因为我个人就是这个团队众多游戏的粉丝。孩之宝和Saber Interactive将携手开发一款全新电子游戏，这款游戏由2024年的超级热门游戏《战锤40K：星际战士2》背后的团队操刀。这款基于我们重要IP之一的新AAA游戏，融合了刺激的单人动作和惊人的多人玩法，还结合了Saber的Swarm技术，肯定会大受欢迎。”

这一合作据悉是一个“联合发行协议”。Cocks再次强调，游戏将由《星际战士2》原班团队制作，他还称赞该团队为“业内最优秀的一批人才”。

目前，孩之宝旗下最具知名度的IP包括《龙与地下城》《特种部队》《万智牌》《恐龙战队》以及《变形金刚》。

During the earnings conference held by IP giant and toy manufacturer Hasbro and developer Saber Interactive, Chris Cocks, the company’s CEO, revealed that the team developing Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is currently working on a 3A game based on one of Hasbro’s “pillar” IPs.

Cocks said, “We are working on many new digital partnerships, and I’m especially happy to announce this one today because I’m a fan of many games made by this team. Hasbro and Saber Interactive will collaborate on developing a brand-new video game, which will be developed by the team behind the 2024 super hit Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. This new AAA game based on one of our key IPs combines exciting single-player action and amazing multiplayer gameplay with Saber’s Swarm technology and is sure to be very popular.”

This cooperation is reportedly a “joint publishing agreement”. Cocks reiterated that the game will be made by the original team of Space Marine 2 and referred to them as “one of the best talents in the industry”.

Currently, Hasbro’s most famous IPs include Dungeons & Dragons, G.I. Joe, Magic: The Gathering, Power Rangers, and Transformers.
